Church History

Pastor Matthew Malone was born and raised in east Tennessee. After his conversion to Jesus, he attended Blue Ridge Chapel School of the Prophets in Rocky Mount, Virginia. During school, Pastor Malone met his future wife, Shelia. While in Bible school, both were married in 1992, after which, they returned to Tennessee to serve in a local church.

The Malones served the Lord as full time evangelists for two years and then they took the position of youth pastors in a local church. During their time of ministry in Tennessee they had two beautiful children, Caleb and Stephanie.

In 1996 the Lord spoke to them to pioneer a work in Winter Haven, Florida. That same October Living Water Church was born in a septic tank building. Over the next few years, the church has moved from Winter Haven, FL to the current location in Eagle Lake, FL. For many wonderful years now the Lord has continued to bless and add new believers to the church. These people now have a relationship with Jesus and continue to grow in their faith and build the Kingdom of God by inviting non-Christians to find out about Jesus.

Recently, in the past two years, the church has seen amazing growth. Numbers grew from the low 30s to almost 100 visitors and members by the end of 2010. God has more in store for Living Water Church as it has begun work on a new building project located not too far from the current location. The land is already paid for and a new sanctuary and gymnasium are in the works.
